Specialty Rehabiliation Hospital of Luling has been in continuous operation since 1998. First operating as LaPlace Rehabilitation Hospital and located in LaPlace, Louisiana, SRH has gone through major changes in the last few years.

Specialty Rehabiliation Hospital of Luling was purchased by Specialty Healthcare and transitioned to the state of the art facility it is now in late 2008. The Specialty team changed the name to Specialty Rehabilitation Hospital of LaPlace and continued to operate in LaPlace until October of 2009.

Seeing the possibility of moving to a location closer to the metropolitan New Orleans area, Specialty made the decision to move the hospital to Luling, LA. This also afforded the opportunity to renovate the facility before the move to the beautiful and family friendly facility it is now.

Based on the simple premise that "The Patient Always Comes First", Specialty Healthcare has seen tremendous growth in the acquisition and sale of healthcare facilities and the expansion of their management company services.
